The local market

All around Lahore and Pakistan are small local markets. These markets usually service the immediate community around them, and generally you can buy most day to day items such as fresh veggies, small grocery items and often some other weird and wonderful things which you have to explore the shops to find!

Local veggies are cheap, very cheap (even if being overcharged as a white boy)…you can get pretty much a kg of all the veggies you need for the week for about $2 or less.

Here is a little tour of my local ‘market’ where I get veggies, milk etc from. Haven’t bought the chicken yet, but it’s on the list to do!
